In a digital era where everything is at our finger tips. We have a great need to destress and self sooth. That is why pets are so important. Most families have indoor pets especially dogs and cats.

“Pets, especially dogs and cats, can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness, and even improve your cardiovascular health. Caring for an animal can help children grow up more secure and active.”

But what if you or your child who loves pet is allergic? My son is highly allergic to cats and dogs …. Despite that he loves cats our sweet mr meow. His allergies bring him much distress we can’t visit a cat cafe or petco to pet cats.

Our families long standing tradition of saving and watching little kittens videos. Having our problems melt away by watching those cute little fur balls just play.

“Internet data shows two million cat videos were posted on YouTube as of 2014, totalling nearly 26 billion views.”   The university of Indiana study this and found that Dr Jessica Gall Myrick, an assistant professor at the Media School at Indiana University, conducted a study surveying almost 7,000 people to find out whether viewing cat videos on the Internet could have the same positive effects as pet therapy, and whether the activity causes guilt in viewers who use it as a method of procrastination.

The study discovered that people while studying, felt more energized and had fewer negative emotions after watching cats online, were kinder and more pleasant.

Cat therapy watching videos can lift your mood and spirits. Bring more positive energy and kinder thoughts.
