So after hoping to see this since I read a blog on it after going to two bit street. The railroad cut the salt Lake in two parts one side is normal blue and green water. The other side is where Morton’s salt plant is near with mounts of Salt. Up the road is the native Utah Shrimp brine. Those little shrimps –like it salty they have more salt in the lake then the ocean. The brine and bacteria leave the lake with a vibrant pink hue for directions two both locations go to this blog, she gives amazing tips the only thing that has changed since her blog they closed the 2 miles off from the bathroom. Small beach area but better than some reservoirs in UT. The Pink Lake is rare in the world and if you can’t tell by the pics had a pretty strawberry lemonade color.
